Bydd Llywodraeth Cymru’n creu delweddau a lluniau fideo ohonoch (gwrthrych y data) i hyrwyddo negeseuon polisi Llywodraeth Cymru i’r cyhoedd drwy Gyflwyniadau, y Cyfryngau Cymdeithasol, Cylchlythyron Digidol a Gwefannau. Bydd y delweddau hyn yn gyfystyr â data personol amdanoch (fel a ddiffinnir gan y Rheoliad Cyffredinol ar Ddiogelu Data) a Llywodraeth Cymru fydd rheolwr y data hynny. Bydd Llywodraeth Cymru’n cadw eich data mewn llyfrgell o ddelweddau a fideo at y dibenion a nodir uchod. Caiff y llyfrgell hon ei hadolygu bob tair blynedd a chaiff unrhyw ddelweddau neu fideo sy’n anaddas i’w ddefnyddio mwyach eu dinistrio, ynghyd â’r manylion cyswllt perthnasol.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
PRIVACY NOTICE – WELSH GOVERNMENT IMAGE LIBRARY
The Welsh Government will create images and video footage of you (the data subject) for the purposes of promoting Welsh Government policy messages to the public via Presentations, Social Media, Digital Newsletters and Websites. This information will amount to your personal data (as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation) and the Welsh Government will be the controller for it. By agreeing to be the subject of these images and taking part in the filming, you are consenting for your personal data to be processed in this way.
- What do we use your personal data for?
The images and video footage will be used in Presentations, Social Media, Digital Newsletters and Websites to promote policy and initiatives undertaken by the Welsh Government as part of our statutory role and function.
Your contact details (name; address) will be used by the Welsh Government to contact you about future use of the images or video footage, should there be an occasion where it needs to be used for any other medium than those set out in this consent form.
- How long will we keep your personal data?
The Welsh Government will keep your data in an image and film library for use for the purposes identified above. The contents of this library will be reviewed every three years. Any images or video footage deemed no longer suitable for use will be removed and destroyed along with the accompanying contact details.
- Your rights in relation to your personal data
You have the right:
- To access the personal data we are processing about you;
- To require us to rectify inaccuracies in that data;
- To have this personal data erased;
- To lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) who is our independent regulator for data protection.
You also have the right to withdraw your consent for the Welsh Government to use your personal data at any time. You can do this by contacting: DigitalComms@gov.wales
